Newberry College Athletics

William was a football player from Swansea, SC. He lettered four years. He was named outstanding lineman in his junior & senior years. In 1959, his senior year, he was selected Co-Captain and was selected to the All-District team, All-State, and Second Team All-American.
William was also voted the Outstanding Lineman in the Little Three Conference.
