Newberry College Athletics

Chuck came from Youngstown, Ohio in 1921. He earned 12 letters in football, baseball, and basketball. He was captain of the basketball team, which won state championships each of the four years he was at Newberry College. Chuck was a member of the All-State all four years and was voted a member of the All-SIAA team in 1922. He was one of the best all around athletes.
