Newberry College Athletics

The “Abbeville Antelope” ran into the Newberry College record books when he scored 3 TD’s versus Elon. He played in the backfield with other hall of famers Danny Brabham and Grady Ray. He led the state in rushing and was selected to the First Team All-State his junior year. He was a fierce competitor and was selected team captain by his peers his senior year. He gained Little All-American Honorable Mention status and finished a great career. After 17 years of education, Paul entered the business world and he still supports Newberry College.
