Newberry College Athletics

Jesse “rabbit” Rushe came from Malvern, Ohio in 1925. He was a member of the football, basketball, and baseball teams in each of his four years. In football, he was All-State his junior & senior years. In basketball he was captain and was selected to the All-State team in his senior year. He was considered one of the best guards in the state.
