Hall of Fame
A standout performer on the football field, Chris Miller earned All-Conference Second Team honors in both 1979 and 1980 while also being named All-NAIA District 6 in consecutive seasons. Following his playing career, Miller built an extraordinary legacy as a high school football coach, compiling a 170-76 career record and leading his teams to five state championships, including three consecutive titles at Byrnes High School. His contributions to the sport have been recognized with induction into the South Carolina Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2020 and the South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2024.Â
