Newberry College Athletics

After a year at USC and a tour with the U.S. Army, “Bull” came to Newberry in the fall of 1955. He earned three letters in football. In his senior year he was a team captain and Honorable Mention Little-All American. He was three times selected All Little Three Team and was an outstanding conference lineman. All State and NAIA All District in 1956-57. He was named “Who’s Who” for his athletic and campus participation.
