Newberry College Athletics

Thomas came to Newberry for South Plainfield, New Jersey. He lettered in football each of his four years and was selected co-captain his senior year. He won many honors for himself and the school. These include being chosen All-State & All-Carolinas Conference for three years, All-District NAIA, Best Back in the Little Three Conference, and Honorable Mention All-American. With this outstanding record Thomas deserves this listing with the Newberry greats.
