Newberry College Athletics

Ed is from Youngstown, Ohio. “Cap” was an important part of the Newberry College football and track, but his main contribution was on the court. He scored 48 pts against Erskine his freshman year and was named Honorable Mention All-America his senior year. He was a psychology and education major. He returned to Ohio where pursued a construction career. Ed passed award shortly after his selection to the Newberry College Athletic Hall of Fame.
