Hall of Fame
Ken Pettus from Greenville lettered in baseball for three years from 1969-1971 and football for four years.  As a junior football player he was named Defensive Player of the Year in the conference, All-Conference, Honorable Mention All-State, Honorable Mention All-American on the NAIA team, and the Lutheran College team, and the NAIA District 16 team. He led with 6 interceptions in 1971 and was named team captain. The honors continued in 1972 when he was named Third Team NAIA All-American, First Team Lutheran College All-American, API Third Team All-American, All-Conference, All-State, All-District Team Captain, and was a Jimmy Villeponteaux Sportsmanship Award recipient.
