NEWBERRY, S.C. – The Newberry College women's soccer team has been honored with the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024–25 academic year, recognizing programs across the nation that excel in the classroom.

The award is presented annually to collegiate soccer programs that achieve a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the academic year. It is one of the most respected academic honors in college soccer, underscoring a program's commitment to academic excellence in addition to athletic achievement.

With this recognition, the Wolves join a select group of programs across the country balancing competitive success with academics. The honor highlights Newberry's continued emphasis on developing well-rounded student-athletes.
