The Newberry College's Women's Rugby team is gearing up for the 2024 season. Head Coach Eric Enright is thrilled about the potential of his squad and believes it will be a great season for the Wolves. 

"The team has a lot of potential and is continuously improving each practice and they have been attacking practices with great intensity and coming to work hard." said Enright.

Enright and the team have been training during these upcoming weeks in preparation for their tournaments. Throughout practices the team have been working on ground ball skills, ball handling and overall fitness. 

"The players work well together and support one another. I'm excited for this season." stated Enright. 

With a fresh mix of talent and newcomers, the Newberry College's Rugby team is set to approach the season with high energy. Fans and spectators can anticipate this will be an exciting season for the Wolves. 

The Wolves are set to play their game on September 1st, at Warren Wilson starting at 1PM.
