Newberry SC- The Women's rugby team went head-to-head with UNC Greensboro, Elon University, and Emory & Henry, dominating all three in a relentless showdown.

Match One vs UNC Greensboro
In the first match of the day, the Wolves faced off against the Spartans of UNCG, and from the opening whistle, they set the tone, determined to put on a show for the home crowd.
Amanda Moore wasted no time, bulldozing her way through the Spartan defense with back-to-back stiff arms to score a try.
Ella Litwin-Scanzani and
Anna Dunham followed suit, slicing through the defense for a try each. The Wolves were relentless, delivering blow after blow with two powerful tries from
Emily Pulley. The onslaught continued as
Lucy Miller and
Lexi Zloba added two more tries to seal the deal. Meanwhile, the Spartans were kept scoreless, unable to break through the Wolves' dominant defense. Zloba capped off the dominant performance with a standout conversion, finishing the match with a total of eight points from her successful kicks.

Match Two vs Elon University
In the second match of the day, the Wolves faced off against the Phoenix of Elon University, and they carried their momentum from the first game, coming out hot and aggressive. Moore once again proved to be a brutal force on the field, using her trademark stiff-arm to power through the defense and score two tries. Right behind her, Litwin-Scanzani fought off the Phoenix defense to add another try to the board. The Wolves weren't finished yet, adding a penalty try to their tally, gifting them an easy seven points and extending their already impressive lead. Pulley continued to battle through defensive pressure, shrugging off two Phoenix defenders to score a try of her own. And Zloba wrapped up the game with a standout performance, racking up 12 points from three conversions and a try. Meanwhile, the Phoenix were held scoreless, unable to break through the Wolves' dominating defense, sealing a commanding shutout victory

Match Three vs Emory & Henry
Coming off two dominant shutout victories, the Wolves carried their momentum into their matchup against the Wasps of Emory & Henry. From the opening whistle, the game was a battle of wills, with both teams evenly matched and the intensity rising with every play. Pulley continued her strong performance, breaking through the Wasps' tough defense to score a try and then converting it herself. Moore, showing the same grit she displayed in the earlier matches, added two more tries to give the Wolves the lead (17-15). Despite the Wasps' best efforts, they were unable to tie the game after missing the conversion, leaving the Wolves in control and securing the hard-fought victory.
