PREVIEW: Wolves Aim To Keep Strong Conference Record Against The Indians

SALISBURY, N.C. - Men's tennis (4-7, 3-2 SAC) travel north to take on Catawba (5-6, 4-1 SAC).

SCOUTING THE WOLVES
  • Court #1 star James Vincent continues his impressive Wolves debut, growing his singles win streak to five after his victory last week.
  • Despite their losses, Newberry continues to show tenacity and promise, forcing multiple matches into tie breakers and third sets.
  • Joshua Fritz has the best record for the Wolves after his third win in a row versus Lenoir-Rhyne.
    • In the spring, Fritz is 8-3, narrowly losing his match to Tusculum in a third set.
SCOUTING THE INDIANS
  • Although they have a losing record, Catawba plays well against ranked opponents.
    • Most recently, Catawba defeated #42 Lincol Memorial 4-3.
