Box Score MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Newberry men's tennis team fell to No. 13 Georgia College on Wednesday afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Facility.

The Bobcats took the doubles point as Edison Ambarzumjan and Enrico Haas fell to Robert Moller and Matt Rogel, 6-0. Alex Amble and Lawrence Friedland fell to the Bobcats' Enzo Kohn and Nathan Connelly, 6-0. Sean Nguyen and Jose Navarro's match went unfinished as the Bobcats claimed the point before their match was finished.

In singles action, Navarro and Friedland picked up wins for the Wolves. Navarro won a close matchup against Rogel, 7-6, 6-4. Meanwhile Friedland took down Kohn, cruising to victory after a close first set, 7-6, 6-2. In the other matchups the Wolves were nearly edged out. Amble took Georgia College's Cole Heller to a third set before falling 6-4, 4-6, 3-6. Haas dropped his match against Noah Wallace 5-7, 4-6, while Ambarzumjan fell 3-6, 5-7. Nguyen rounded out the competition falling to Jannik Kumbier, 1-6, 1-6.
