Box Score NEWBERRY – The Newberry men's tennis team fell to Anderson 4-3 Monday afternoon at the Oakland Tennis Center.
 
The Wolves (6-6, 0-1 SAC) were able to get the doubles point on the afternoon. Edison Ambarzumjan and Enrico Haas were able to defeat Spencer Brown and Adam Kush in a hard-fought battle. Ambarzumjan and Haas were able to come away 7-5. Jose Navarro and Sean Nguyen defeated Ignacio Bidegain and Preston Morpeth in a 6-4 to secure the doubles point.
 
Nguyen continued his impressive day, defeating Tomas Depaggio. Nguyen and Depaggio had a hard fought first set but Nguyen was able to come away with a 7-6 win. Nguyen closed out the match with a 6-3 win in the second match.
 
Haas also continued his impressive day, defeating Jeffery Dayton. Haas was able to breeze through his match, winning 6-2 in the first set and 6-3 in the second set.
 
The Wolves will be back in action on Wednesday as they take on No. 5 Wingate at 2 p.m.
