NEWBERRY, S.C. – Newberry College veterans Madison Watson (Middle Blocker), Anna Schneider (Outside Hitter), and Sam Schaffer (Right-Side Hitter) have been named to the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Players to Watch list for the 2025 volleyball season.

Watson returns for her senior campaign after posting a strong .245 hitting percentage with 93 kills last season. Schneider, a junior, adds Wolves' lineup, averaging 2.08 points per set with 82 kills for a total of 93.5 points. Schaffer, also a senior, is expected to be a key offensive weapon after recording a team-leading 184 kills and averaging 2.60 points per set for 211.0 total points.

The Wolves were picked to finish ninth out of 12 teams in the SAC Preseason Coaches Poll.
