PREVIEW: Wolves Wrap Up Their Home Schedule Against The Cobras

NEWBERRY, S.C. - Men's tennis (4-12, 3-7 SAC) hosts their final home match of the season against Coker (4-12, 3-7 SAC).

SCOUTING THE WOLVES

Men's tennis is fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive with two matches remaining in the season. In order to make the top eight, the Wolves need to win out and UVA Wise/Anderson both need to lose their remaining matches.
- UVA Wise (3-7 SAC) will play Tusculum (7-2) and Wingate (10-0).
- Anderson (4-7) will face Catawba (9-1).
The men have semi consistent winners at singles but have not won the doubles point since their 4-3 win over Limestone on March 7th.
- Since that win, David Negzaoui and Joshua Fritz are the only pair to have more than one win (2).
James Vincent of court one will need to step-up after his three set loss last week.
- Prior to his absence two weeks ago, Vincent was 5-1 in conference play.

SCOUTING THE COBRAS

Coker also remains in the playoff race as they tie Newberry in their conference record.
- The Cobras also need Anderson and UVA Wise to lose and will need to win out.
In head to head match ups, the Cobras are almost the exact same as Newberry.
- Coker defeated Anderson 5-2, Newberry lost to Anderson 5-2.
- Coker lost to Limestone 3-4, Newberry defeated Limestone 4-3.
