PREVIEW: Tennis Begins Their Road Stretch Against Limestone

GAFFNEY, S.C. - Men's (3-6) and women's (6-2) tennis travel to Limestone (M 3-3, W 7-2) to continue their conference play. Their first match begins at 1 P.M.

SCOUTING THE WOLVES
  • Both teams went 2-1 this past week, defeating Emory & Henry and Mars Hill.
  • Aina Miralles and Ish Singh both went 3-0 in singles for the women.
    • Miralles went 3-0 in doubles as well. Singh, 2-1.
  • James Vincent, Noel Bartz and David Negzaoui went 3-0 in singles this past week.
    • Vincent/Bartz boast the best record in doubles this week as well, 2-1.
SCOUTING THE SAINTS
  • The men's team is on a two win streak, defeating North Greenville 5-2 and UVA Wise 4-3.
  • Andre Zamorano is the saints strongest player, boasting a record 3-5 in singles and having an ITA number of 15.2
  • The women are also on a two win streak defeating UVA Wise 7-0 and North Greenville 6-1.
    • Their most recent loss came from Erskine 3-4... Newberry defeated Erskine 5-2 previously in the season.
  • Anamaria Kiszner for Limestone is 6-3 and fluctuates between being on court #1 or #2, her ITA number is 18.
