PREVIEW: Tennis Preps For Their Third Match Of The Week

NEWBERRY, S.C. - Men's and women's tennis hosts their SAC opponent of the season, Emory & Henry, tomorrow at 2 P.M.

SCOUTING THE WOLVES
  • On both teams, Aina Miralles remains the only player to be 2-0 in both singles and doubles this week.
  • James Vincent, Noel Bartz and Ish Singh continue to over perform in their past two matches.
    • All three Wolves are 2-0 in singles this week but split their doubles matches 1-1.
SCOUTING THE WASPS
  • The Wasps are currently 2-0 on the women's side and 1-2 on the men's side. Both teams are competing in the first spring match today, March 1st against Lenoir-Rhyne.
    • The women defeated 0-4 King, 6-1 and 3-6 Miligan, 5-2
    • The men defeated 0-1 Guilford (DIII) 5-4.
  • The men's teams player with the lowest ITA number is Kartik Parhar with a 17.4 and is 1-2 both singles and doubles.
  • The women's teams player with the lowest ITA number is Kira Turpin with 21.6. Her record on the season is 2-0 in singles and 1-0 in doubles.
