NEWBERRY – The Newberry College baseball team has been selected number two in the National College Baseball Writers Association preseason southeast region poll released this afternoon.
The poll was voted on by Athletic Communications professionals from 15 institutions around the Southeast Region.
The Wolves are coming off a historic season where they set the school record 43 wins, won their second SAC Championship, and hosted a regional in the NCAA Division II tournament.
The NCBWA preseason all-region teams will be released tomorrow, and the national poll will be released Wednesday.
