NEWBERRY – The Newberry College athletic department would like to invite everyone out to the second annual Women in Sports Day on Saturday February 17th, as the Wolves will be taking on the Highland Cavaliers of UVA Wise in Eleazer Arena.
To celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day, Newberry College is hosting a free clinic for youth sports in the city and county of Newberry in MacLean Gymnasium. The clinic will start at 12:00 pm. Youth aged 5-17 are welcome to join our Women's Athletics teams in learning about Newberry College and the sports we offer to our current and incoming students. Attendees are invited to stay and attend the Women's Basketball game at 2:00 pm and the Men's Basketball game at 4:00 pm. Campers will receive free admission to the games along with a free hot dog and drink.
