HARROGATE, TN- The Newberry College women's basketball team closed out its 2025-26 season Saturday afternoon with a hard-fought 68–48 road contest against #16 nationally ranked Lincoln Memorial University inside B. Frank Turner Arena.
The Wolves showed resilience throughout the afternoon, trailing 39–28 at halftime after a competitive first half that saw Newberry put together a strong second-quarter push. Despite the deficit, the Wolves continued to battle on both ends of the floor and never backed down in the final 20 minutes of the season.
Newberry was led by Jada Brown, who capped her season with an impressive double-double, finishing with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Brown's presence inside anchored the Wolves offensively and on the glass. Marykate Kent and Reghan Williams each added eight points, providing steady scoring support as Newberry continued to fight through the final buzzer.
The Wolves conclude the 2025-26 campaign with a 13–15 overall record and 7–15 mark in conference play.
