NEWBERRY, S.C. -- Due to the impending rain that will descend upon Newberry County throughout the weekend, the No. 6 Newberry College baseball team has announced changes and a cancelation to their weekend series with Catawba.

While originally the two teams were trying to play a single game on Saturday, that game has now been canceled.  Due to the Easter Weekend and in accordance with South Atlantic Conference policies, the teams are not allowed to play on Sunday, so the teams will pick back up Monday with a doubleheader scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. start.
