Softball Pushes Doubleheader with Anderson to Sunday at Noon

Due to weather in Newberry, the teams will now play on Sunday afternoon.

NEWBERRY, S.C. – Due forecasted weather in the Newberry area, the Newberry College softball team (22-13, 8-6 SAC) has moved their Saturday, April 1 doubleheader with the Anderson Trojans (22-14, 7-9 SAC) back one day to Sunday, April 2. First pitch is now scheduled for noon with game two to follow at approximately 2 P.M.

The Wolves and Trojans currently sit at seventh and eighth in the South Atlantic Conference standings with Newberry leading the Trojans by 2.0 games.
