Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 TIGERVILLE- The Newberry men's tennis team sealed two victories over North Greenville University and Spartanburg Methodist College on Sunday afternoon. The Wolves have extended their fall campaign record to 5-1.

The Wolves got off to quick start against Spartanburg Methodist. Newberry excelled in doubles play, defeating their opponents 8-1, 8-0 and picking up default win. The team fed off their doubles play and brought the same intensity to their singles matches. Adam Black played a big role for the Wolves as he picked up his first collegiate win, excelling in both doubles and singles play. Black took down Spartanburg's Noah B ?? 6-0, 6-1. 

Newberry transitioned into similar success against North Greenville University, prevailing victorious by a 5-2 margin. Luca Kirchoff was able to come out on top, defeating Yannis Moulod in three sets 6-7, 6-4, 10-8. Kirchoff wasn't the only one that had a match go into three sets. Marcel Schomburg prevailed victorious against Pierre-Oliver Bedard  5-7, 6-4, 10-5. The Wolves had strong performances from Luke Layton, Lawerence Friedland and Adam Black to close out singles play.
