Newberry College Athletics

Jimmy Gardner enters his first season with the Newberry College Football staff.  

He has previously served as an assistant in the high school programs across the state of South Carolina.  He was an assistant at Bethune High School (1993-96), Lugoff-Elgin High School (1997-2001, 2007-13), Keenan High School (2002-03) and Andrew Jackson High School (2003-06).  Most recently he served as offensive line coach at Lugoff-Elgin High School.

He will assist the staff on the offensive side of the ball, with the offensive line.

Gardner resides in Bishopville, South Carolina with his wife, the former Eva Frazier and two children, Trey and Caroline.
