Played in five games and made two starts as designated hitter...Hit .111 with a hit and an RBI in a win over Belmont Abbey...Member of Newberry's first-ever conference regular season championship team that spent eight weeks ranked in the top 10 and set school record with 41 wins.

Started 16 games and played in 26... Batted .381 on the season with 24 hits and 17 RBI's in his freshman season... Finished the season strong with the series at Anderson, as the first game of the series on 4/20, he had 4 hits, including a home run, and 5 RBI's, and followed it up the next day with another 4 hit, 4 RBI performance.
