NEWBERRY, SC- Newberry senior Ryan Morrison has been named the South Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office. This marks his second time earning the award this season. 

Morrison anchored Newberry's defensive effort with a dominant performance in the Wolves' lone game of the week. Morrison caused eight turnovers and collected eight ground balls, consistently disrupting the opposition's offense and regaining possession for the Wolves. In addition to his defensive impact, he contributed in transition with a goal, showcasing his ability to turn defense into offense. He also played a clean game, committing zero turnovers.
