This week's South Carolina Army National Guard Newberry College Players of the Week are sophomore sprinter Bryanna Thompson (White Knoll) and sophomore goaltender Ben McMullen (Uxbridge, Ontario).
 
Thompson set a new school record by clocking a time of 14.73 in the 100-meter hurdles at the Lenoir-Rhyne Southside Power & Fitness Invitational.  She also ran the lead leg on both the 4 x 100-meter and 4 x 400 meter relay teams that set season best marks of 49.24 and 4:10.97.  
 
McMullen made 11 saves in the Wolves' 17-11 South Atlantic Conference victory at Lincoln Memorial.  He ranks second in the SAC in goals against average (10.6), third in total saves (128) and fourth in save percentage (.504).  McMullen has a 10-3 record in net for the Wolves this season.
