Men's Lacrosse 3/31/2026 1:26:00 PM Wolves Move Up To #6 In National Poll - Take On Pair Of Top 10 Teams This Week The Newberry College Wolves men's lacrosse team (9-2, 5-0) has moved into a tie for sixth in the latest United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association national poll. This is a big week for the Wolves as they travel to #10 Anderson Wednesday night and host #4 Wingate Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Setzler Field. The 9-2 start is the best in program history surpassing the 8-3 start of the 2024 team that finished 12-4, 6-3 in the SAC and advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament. Gage Vigar and Liam Vollans are two of the stop scorers in the league with combined 54 goals and 98 points. Ben McMullen leads the league in goals against average (9.10) and is second in save percentage (.523).
