Bouchard set the school record in the 400-meter dash in her collegiate debut at the JDL Mondo College Invitational in Winston-Salem with a time of 57.46, finishing fourth in a field of 24 runners. She beat runners from NCAA Division 1 schools Duke, Elon, North Carolina A&T, Queens and The Citadel. Her time is the second best in the event in the South Atlantic Conference this year. Bouchard also ran on the second leg of the Wolves 4 x 400-meter relay team that ran the fourth fastest time in the SAC this season.
Â
Downs had a pair of double-doubles last week averaging 22.5 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game as the Wolves split a pair of South Atlantic Conference contests. He also made nearly 60 percent (.593) of his shots from the floor, 50 percent (3-6) of his 3-point shot attempts and 80 percent (4-5) of his free throws. Downs scored 22 points, grabbed 12 rebounds while making 10-of-18 shots from the floor in the Wolves victory over Wingate. He is averaging 19.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game while hitting 59.7% of his shots from the floor this season.
