HARROGATE, TN- The Newberry men's basketball team wrapped up its 2025-26 season with a 108–66 decision against nationally ranked #10 Lincoln Memorial University at B. Frank Turner Arena.
Drake Downs led Newberry with 22 points and five rebounds, adding two three-pointers. Makhi Rivers contributed eight points, four rebounds, and two steals, and Gyterson Louissaint also scored eight points on a perfect 3-of-3 shooting night. Kayzzin McDowell added six points and three steals, while Brett Dent supplied six points on 3-of-3 shooting. Reggie Abram also finished with six points, and Joshua Goodman chipped in five. Houston Jones contributed three points, and Desmond Ware added two. The Wolves connected on eight three-pointers and went 8-of-14 from the free-throw line while forcing seven steals.
The Wolves conclude the 2025-26 campaign with a 10–18 overall record and 6–16 mark in conference play.
