This week's South Carolina Army National Guard Newberry College Players of the Week are forwards Leigh Harris (Compton, Calif.) and Malahki Stremlow (Traverse City, Mich.).
 
In two games Harris scored 25 points, made 10 of 17 shots from the field for nearly 59 percent and hit five of six free throws while grabbing nine rebounds.  Harris had a standout game against #21 ranked Lincoln Memorial scoring 19 points while making 7 of 12 shots from the floor, grabbing six rebounds and coming up with three steals.
 
Stremlow hit two free throws with four seconds left to force overtime and then scored four of his 18 points in the extra period to spark the Wolves to a come from behind 82-72 victory over Lincoln Memorial.  Stremlow made six of nine shots from the field and all six of his free throws while grabbing five rebounds, contributing three steals and dishing out an assist.
