The Newberry College men's wrestling program set a record by having 11 student-athletes named recipients of the National Wrestling Coaches Association 2025 NCAA DII Men's Scholar All-American Award.
To earn the recognition, student-athletes must meet one of the following criteria: All-American at the 2025 NCAA DII National Championships and 3.00 cumulative grade point average, national qualifier to the 2025 NCAA DII National Championships and 3.25 cumulative grade point average or competed in four or more events and 3.5 cumulative grade point average.

The Wolves were also recognized for their team's academic performance as the NWCA named Newberry College as a 2025Â NCAA DII Men's Team Scholar All-America Award recipient. Â
The NCAA DII Men's Scholar Academic program garners the team cumulative grade point averages  from the 10 starters a program puts out at its respective NCAA Super Regional tournament.Â
The Wolves ranked #3 in the nation with a team grade point average of 3.525.
