Emma Jobs tied a school record by scoring a career-high six goals to lead the Newberry College Wolves to a 14-6 home win over Barton College.
The win propelled the Wolves to their best start in school history at 3-0 while the Bulldogs fell in their season opener.
Jobs scored a hat trick fourth period, two goals in the second period and on the first as she rallied the team from an early 3-0 deficit to outscore the Bulldogs 14-3 over the final 45 minutes and 11 seconds of the contest.
Amelia Hawkes scored a hat trick and now has a team leading 13 goals on the season.

Riley Duchon,
Lana Howell and
Nicole DiNapoli all added goals for the Wolves as the team has outscored its competition 50-11 over the first three games.

Mackenzie Dorr added a season-high 11 saves as Newberry has not allowed more than six goals in a game this season.
The Wolves outshot the Bulldogs 28-20 and had a 24-14 advantage on ground balls.
Newberry outscored Barton 10-1 in the decisive second and fourth periods.
Jobs scored her first goal of the game with 11 seconds left in the first period to cut the Barton lead to 3-1.
That began a streak of seven consecutive goals stretching into the early part of the third period with two apiece in the second period from Jobs and Hawkes and one each from Duchon and Elias.
After Barton cut the lead to 7-5, Newberry rattled off five straight goals stretching into the fourth period with two from Jobs and goals from DiNapoli, Shephard, and Hawkes.
Barton scored to cut the lead to 12-6 but Howell and Jobs scored in the last three minutes to secure the victory.
The Wolves will remain home to host Lander Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at Setzler Field.
