HARRIMAN, TN - The Newberry Men's Golf team closed out the LMU Spring Invitational at St. Johns GCC, battling through a challenging third round to secure their final position on the leaderboard, tying for 12th.

The Wolves fought through the final stretch, with Benedikt Fischer leading the team after carding a 72 (E), his best round of the tournament. Fischer's steady performance included crucial pars and birdies that helped keep Newberry competitive.
Josh Greig continued his consistent play, posting a 74 (+2) to round out a strong individual tournament for him. Tom Hull finished with a 76 (+4), while Herman du Plessis followed with a 77 (+5), grinding through a tough back nine. Jack Earle battled his way to an 83 (+11), rounding out the team's scoring effort.
