RECAP: Newberry Wolves Men's soccer loses their second game of the season, 5-1, to the Flagler College Saints on Saturday, September 7th. Flagler tallied two first half goals, Newberry one. In the second half, Flagler tallied three more goals.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Flagler started the scoring off with two goals in the first 22 minutes. Sam Reynolds was responsible for the first, assisted by Andres Morral. The second goal came from Gustav Moberg, assisted by Alex Alexandrou.

  • Before the first half came to a close, Newberry got on the board. Henok Awoke, assisted by Ethan Orozco after a right side breakaway. 

  • The Saints tallied three more goals in the second half. Miles Shanley, Luke Williams, and Jackson Kirila found their first goals of the season. Assists came from Kirila and Reiss Skeen.
