In set one, Newberry started off slow being down 16-10 until a kill from Gabby Warren and Kate Brown, assisted by Annie Dill and Giovanna Ravanhani set the Wolves back on track

The Wolves tied it up 21-21 after a huge block from Madison Watson and Emma Christensen.

From there the Wolves stayed strong and forced overtime, after a kill from Carole Ann Hussey, assisted by Dill, they took a final lead of 29-27

In set two: The Wolves got off to a better start leading 14-10 after a kill from Christensen, assisted by Dill.

The Vikings went on to score 11 unanswered points making the score 21-14

The didn't stop our relentless Wolves, going on an 10-1 run, they took the lead 24-22

The Wolves closed out set two after a service error.

In set three, the Wolves stayed in control. Holding their ground and only losing the lead once, the Wolves finished the set 25-20 and ended the game winning all three sets.

HIGHLIGHTS:

In set one, the Wolves made quick work of the Hawks taking a commanding 15-6 lead to start off.

After a kill from Warren, assisted by Christensen, the Wolves went on a seven point run leading the Hawks 22-8.

The Wolves finished off the set with a service ace from Dill, winning 25-11.

In set two, Newberry was off to a quick start again, leading the Hawks 13-6.

Raising the score to 21-10 after three straight attack errors from the Hawks, the Wolves were ready to finish them off, with a final set score of 25-14.

In set three, there was a more competitive start to the game starting off 8-8. The Wolves took their first lead of the set with a kill from Dill, 9-8.

The Wolves took off from that point leading the Hawks 18-13.

The Hawks made an attempt to comeback but just fell short to Newberry after a kill by Samantha Shaffer, assisted by Ravanhani, ending the set 25-22.
