GREENWOOD, IND. – Four members of the Newberry College women's tennis team were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, announced this afternoon.
 
All-District members include junior Emma Arnal, sophomore Sofia Cardenas, senior Rosie Harfield, and junior Margarita Nikonorova.

To qualify for the list, the student-athlete must have competed in 90% or started in 66% of games for the season and achieve a 3.5 GPA. The 2023 Academic All-District® Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field or court and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early June.
