NEWBERRY – Advancing to the South Atlantic Conference semifinals for the second consecutive season, the No. 4 seed Newberry men's lacrosse team will look to upset top-seeded and undefeated Limestone this afternoon at Saints Field. Faceoff is scheduled for 3:00.

Scouting the Wolves:
• Newberry (12-3) earned a 20-14 win in the quarterfinal round over fifth-seeded Anderson on Saturday at Setzler Field.

Baker Westmoreland, a SAC First Team representative, scored six goals for the second time this season in the win and added an assist.
•
Miles Jones,
one of this week's South Carolina Army National Guard Newberry Players of the Week, scored a career-high four goals against the Trojans.

• The Wolves endured a 20-12 loss to the Saints back on March 23 at home.
Scouting the Saints:
• Limestone (15-0) defeated Mars Hill 20-3 at home in its regular-season finale a week ago.
• Carter Brand netted three goals for the Saints to give him 26 on the year, third most on the team.
• Mason Carfello, Caden Gulka and Michael McGarry all had two goals.
• 11 others scored once to give Limestone 15 goal-scorers versus the Lions.
• Zachary Terry (57 goals, 6 assists) is the centerpiece of the Saints' offense and scored four times in the first meeting with the Wolves this year; Jason Thomfohrde had five goals.
