NEWBERRY – The Newberry baseball team (17-18, 11-7 SAC) fell to nationally ranked North Greenville (27-7, 14-4 CC) 11-2.

Donovan Ford would extend his hitting streak to 15 with a 2-3 night including an RBI double, reaching base on three of his four plate appearances.
The Crusaders would open the game with three runs in the first and second innings. The Wolves would have a rbi double from Ford in the bottom of the third to make it 3-1.
The Crusader bats would add on with five unanswered runs to take an 8-1 lead. The Wolves would score in the seventh on a passed ball to make it 8-2, but the Crusaders would pull away in the ninth with three more runs to make it 11-2.
