NEWBERRY – Winners of two of their last three games, the Newberry College men's lacrosse team hits the road to play Lincoln Memorial in a South Atlantic Conference matchup tomorrow afternoon. Faceoff in Harrogate, Tennessee, is scheduled for 4:00.

Scouting the Wolves:
• Newberry (9-3, 4-3 SAC) defeated Mars Hill on Senior Day at Setzler Field last Saturday, 16-3.

Zach Thompson led the team with five points against MHU, registering three assists and a pair of goals in the win. Thompson's 50 points is second most on the Wolves and tied for sixth in the conference.

Scott Reed scored four goals for Newberry; it's the eighth time this season he's registered at least as many goals. Reed is second in the SAC with 54 goals and has the points-lead with 74.

Curtis Bukta has a chance to reach the 100-goal mark for his career should he score twice against the Railsplitters, a team he has five goals against in four games.
Scouting the Railsplitters:
• Lincoln Memorial (4-10, 1-7 SAC) has lost two in a row, including an 11-10 road setback to Mars Hill on Wednesday.
• Rhodes Conroy paced the Railsplitters with six points on four goals and two assists in the loss. Conroy leads LMU with 34 goals and 49 points in 2024.
• Daniel Pearl, who leads the team with 20 assists, had three against the Lions in addition to one goal.
• LMU's lone conference win was a 17-7 home triumph against Tusculum on March 27. The Wolves beat the Pioneers 27-5 in the fifth game of the campaign.
