PREVIEW: The Wolves Return to Smith Road Complex to Host Catawba

NEWBERRY, S.C.- The Wolves are back at the Smith Road Complex tomorrow to host the Indians of Catawba for a South Atlantic Conference double header set to begin at 2:00.

Scouting the Wolves
  • The Wolves are 18-18 overall and 6-8 in SAC after falling to Anderson on Saturday.
  • Cassidy Phelps leads the pack with a .376 batting average.
  • Melanie Carr went two for three at the plate with one RBI against the Trojans in game two.
  • Lex Glemaker held the Trojans to scoreless innings up until the fifth inning in the second game of the double header.
Scouting the Indians
  • The Indians are 18-18 overall and 6-6 in SAC after being swept by Emory & Henry on Saturday.
  • Both were high scoring games, with the first game score 14-13 and the second game 15-14.
  • Savanna Balderston leads the Indians with a .380 batting average.
  • Balderston totaled eight RBIs for the day against the Wasps.
