PREVIEW: The Wolves are Back at Smith Rd. Complex to Host the Crusaders for a Double Header

NEWBERRY, S.C.- The Wolves (2-2, 0-0 SAC) are back at the Smith Rd. Complex to host the Crusaders of North Greenville (3-1, 0-0 CC) for a double header tomorrow afternoon, first pitch is set for 1:00.  

Fans can watch live on FloSports or follow along with the live stats.  

Scouting the Wolves 

  • The Wolves are 2-2 overall and 0-0 in SAC.  
  • This past weekend the Wolves swept the Bobcats of Lees-McRae in mercy rule fashion in both games of their double header.
  • Sunday, the Wolves battled but dropped a double header to USC Aiken on the road.  
  • Hailey Hill, Sierra Brogdon, and Bethany Pigg all hit .500 in the past weekend.
  • Brogdon hit two home runs and tallied 7 RBIs, behind her is Tori Rose with 5 RBIs from the weekend.  

Scouting the Crusaders 

  • The Crusaders are 3-1 overall and 0-0 in CC. 
  • Last Thursday, the Crusaders split with Augusta and then swept Anderson on Saturday. 
  •  Maddie Stone and Karley Green led the Crusaders with four RBIs.  

Up Next 

The Wolves will be on the road to Lander to compete in the Brianna Surrento Classic. The first game is at 10:00 against Claflin and 12:00 against Erskine.
