Drake Downs delivered a standout performance, leading Newberry with 14 points and 9 rebounds.
Malakhi Stremlow added 10 points and 7 rebounds, while James Lovorn chipped in 10 points, including two made three-pointers.
Newberry outscored Tusculum 32-18 in the paint, with their inside presence led by Downs and Stremlow.
