The Wolves jumped out to a hot start, leading the Lions 8-3, after back-to-back kills from Madison Watson and Emma Christensen.

The Lions picked up their slack and tied the game at 12-12.

Kills by Anna Hapner and Samantha Shaffer got the Wolves back on track, taking a 16-12 lead.

Piling up another five points to the Lions two, the Wolves extended their lead to 21-14.Â

A strong comeback attempt from the Lions closed the gap to only two points, 21-19 Wolves.

Four straight points from the Wolves including two kills from Watson, ended set one 25-19.
   Set 2:

Keeping their good start in theme, the Wolves started set two with a 7-3 lead.

Mars Hill was quick to tie it up and take their own lead at 8-7.

Back and forth play from these teams had them all tied up at 19-19.

Hapner set the Wolves up for their match point, 24-21.

The Lions managed to put two more points on the board before the Wolves closed it out, 25-23.

Mars Hill started on top in this set with a 9-6 lead.

A kill from Kate Brown assisted by Annie Dill paired with four more points got the Wolves back on their feet taking a 11-9 lead.

The Lions were quick to take back control pushing the Wolves down two points, 17-15 Lions.

With the game tied at 21-21 late in the third set, the Lions got in their stride and scored four straight to end the set and keep the match alive.
   Set 4:

Holding the Wolves scoreless in the beginning of the set, the Lions started up 6-0.

Extending their lead to 9-1, the Lions held the Wolves to only two more points before making it 12-3.

A strong comeback attempt from the Wolves led by Samantha Shaffer and Watson, closed the Lions gap to only two, 13-11 Lions.

Keeping the game tight, the Wolves tied it up at 20-20.

Mars Hill closed out set four and forced a fifth set after a 5-1 run, ending the set 25-21.

The Wolves took an early 8-5 lead before the Lions came out swinging, turning the tide and taking the lead at 11-8.Â

Holding the Wolves to only two more points the Lions finished their comeback with a final set five score for 15-10, winning the match, 3-2
