NEWBERRY ?   The Newberry College men's basketball team announced their 2023-24 season schedule Thursday afternoon.
 
The Wolves are coming off a 19-10 season where they made an appearance in the South Atlantic Conference postseason tournament for the third consecutive season.
 
The Wolves open their season November 1, with an exhibition game on the road against the Tigers of Clemson University. The Wolves schedule will feature 12 home games and 13 road contests.
 
Non-Conference Slate:
The Wolves have five non-conference battles, two at home and three away against the likes of Lander, Converse, Francis Marion, Elizabeth City State, and Fayetteville State. The Wolves will open the regular season with a trip to Greenwood to face the Bearcats of Lander University.
 
Conference Slate
The Wolves will have ten home and ten road contests throughout their South Atlantic Conference schedule. They open conference play on Saturday December 2, as they travel to Harrogate, Tenn., to face the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial University.
