NEWBERRY, S.C.- The Wolves Volleyball team lost to the Trojans of Anderson University at home this evening 3-0.
The Wolves trailed in the first and second sets to the Trojans. The Wolves were still in the fight in the third set, not giving it to the Trojans easily. The Wolves were able to go on a few runs in the beginning of the third set keeping them withing five points of the Trojans with the help of a couple kills by
Taylor Hall giving them momentum to make the score 15-10. The third set was the highest scoring set from the Wolves with the end score being 25-19.
Game Leaders
Taylor Hall led the Wolves with 10 kills for the evening.
Margaret McMahon led with three blocks,
Annie Dill and
Madison Watson with two. Dill led with 17 assists while also tagging one ace.
Olivia Bradley led the pack with 20 digs and tagged an ace and assist for the evening.
