JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – The Newberry women's tennis team fell to Carson-Newman on the road 6-1 at the Catlett Tennis Complex Sunday afternoon.
Frederike Klein was able to get the Wolves (10-5, 0-3 SAC) lone win on the day. Klein was able to defeat Ali Harris, but it did not come easy. Klein got the win in the first set easily with a 6-3 win. Klein was pushed to the limit in the third set, edging out Harris with a 7-6 win.
The Wolves will look to get back on track this Tuesday as they travel to Hartsville to take on Coker at 2 p.m.
