HARROGATE, Tenn. - After previously beating Lincoln Memorial earlier in the season, Newberry collapsed to give the Railsplitters the 3-0 sweep on the road. The Wolves tallied a cumulative 38 points in three sets.

Lincoln Memorial ambushed the Wolves early to take the 5-1 lead in the first set. A kill from Sidra Triplett closed the margin to three at 7-4, but the Railsplitters quickly pulled away to make it 16-10. The Wolves were only able to notch five more points before an attack error from Toni-Anne Whitlow ended the set 25-15.

Zoe Dinkins led the team with five kills while Taylor Garrison had 17 assists.

Eight errors committed from Newberry gave Lincoln Memorial the 25-14 win in the second set.

The Railsplitters had 19 blocks compared to seven from the Wolves. Newberry was also outnumbered in kills, assists, digs, and service aces.

Newberry was never able to gain momentum and dropped the third set 25-9.

Lincoln Memorial stagnated the Wolves' offense and held them to a .010 attack percentage.

The Wolves will journey to Coker on Tuesday, Oct. 24 for their third straight road match starting at 7:00 p.m.
